Attenuation Tank Crate System 3200L–7200L | Surface Water Storage & Drainage Solution

The Spudulica attenuation tank crate packages provide a high-capacity solution for collecting and storing excess surface water from driveways, landscaping areas and construction projects. Designed to manage heavy rainfall and stormwater events, these systems allow water to be stored underground and released in a controlled way to the drainage network or reused as required.

Unlike soakaway systems which disperse water directly into the ground, attenuation tanks are designed to temporarily store water and control its release. This helps reduce flooding risk, manage surface water runoff and improve drainage performance in areas prone to water build-up.

Each attenuation package includes high-capacity modular crates, a protective geotextile layer and a prefabricated impermeable shoebox liner to create a sealed underground storage tank.

These systems are suitable for domestic landscaping projects, commercial groundworks and sustainable drainage installations.

250gsm non-woven geotextile layer used to protect the liner during installation and backfilling.

How the Attenuation System Works

The modular crate structure creates a large underground storage void. The impermeable shoebox liner holds water inside the tank, preventing it from dispersing into the surrounding soil.

Stored water can then be:

• Released slowly into the sewer network
• Controlled with flow regulators
• Reused for irrigation or water management systems

This controlled drainage approach helps reduce the impact of heavy rainfall and surface water flooding.
