This woven geomembrane is made from extruded polypropylene tapes and is most commonly used in ground contaminated applications, providing a separation layer and warning marker in one solution.

As such the orange geotextile has a dual effect; Its bright, unmissable colour warns of potential danger at the point of any future excavations and it can also prevent the upward movement of contaminated soil particles.

Suitable for all manner of civil engineering and construction projects, the polypropylene material ensures resistance to all naturally occuring soil acids and alkalis, while bacteria and fungi also has no affect on the fabric. Long-term durability of at least 25 years is predicted in typical soil conditions and temperatures.

650GSM Thick Non Woven Membrane

A heavy duty non-woven geotextile a thicker membrane with not only has the drainage and filtration properties of a usual weight fabric but with added durability for heavier weight projects and loading. 

The heavier weight fabric has a higher tensile strength coupled with a high level of water permeability. Making a perfect solution for a wider range of construction and home projects.

This fabric is not only a heavy duty separation and filtration layer it can be used as a pond protection liner. Its thickness will allow for a cushioning effect that is useful for protection of pots, ponds and to add a cushioning to artificial grassed areas.

Typical project uses, pond protection liner, weed suppression, frost protection, artificial grass, under decking, drainage layers in higher loading areas.
